SubNext.lk is strictly a text-based subtitle resource. We do not host, index, stream, or distribute video media, full-length films, audio files, or peer-to-peer torrent trackers. Accessing this site constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
1. Nature of the Service
SubNext.lk serves as an open, volunteer-driven platform facilitating the discovery, preservation, and direct retrieval of fan-translated Sinhala subtitles. Subtitles are designed solely as timed textual commentary to assist Sinhala-speaking audiences in enjoying world cinema on their legally acquired private media copies.
2. Contributor & Upload Standards
Community members authorized as creators agree to uphold the integrity of our repository. When uploading subtitles, creators warrant that:
- •All uploads consist solely of text subtitle formats (
.srt) or compressed packages (.zip) not exceeding 2 Megabytes (2MB). - •Archive files must never bundle executable binaries (
.exe,.bat,.apk), malicious scripts, spyware, or encrypted payloads. - •Submissions must not contain unsolicited spam advertising, phishing redirections, or deceptive hyperlinks intended to misguide users.
- •SubNext administrators retain absolute discretion to review, reject, or purge any submission failing quality or security verifications.
3. Prohibited Usage & Automated Abuse
You agree not to engage in malicious scraping, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attempts, or automated exploitation aimed at overloading our download routes or database infrastructure. Any systematic harvesting of archive packages using bot networks without express authorization will trigger immediate IP termination.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Liability
SubNext.lk is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without express or implied warranties. While we rigorously screen subtitle packages, we cannot guarantee total synchronization accuracy across every video release encode (BluRay, WEB-DL, HEVC, etc.), nor do we assume liability for any software malfunction arising from third-party subtitle media player configurations.
5. Governing Modifications
We reserve the right to refine or update these Terms of Use at our discretion. Continuous usage of the platform following modifications implies tacit consent to the revised terms.
